Unable to unmanage an interface

This article describes an issue where an interface cannot be unmanaged if the status is Down.


NPM 11.5.3


  1. Follow the steps in the How to unmanage Nodes, Interfaces and/or Application in bulk article.
  2. Use the Unmanage button for the selected interface:


If the above steps do not work, it means that the interface is already decommissioned. Contact SolarWinds Support and ask for the SQL query to remove the interface from the database.
