Issue:

Access Points that were plotted on the map are not detected after Network Atlas was successfully installed and integrated to NPM v11.5.
After plotting a node access point on the map, the following message appears asking for a node/s to be connected.

Cause:

Node access points were added from the left navigation and not from the actual access points.

Resolution:

  1. Remove all nodes from the map.
  2. On the left panel, look for the controller node for the access points.
  3. Use the + icon to expand the objects under controller node.
  4. The access points are seen under Wireless Access Points.
  5. Drag the access points to the map.

Applies to: NPM v11.5
