Unable to add or edit node

Customer is unable to add/edit node due to VIM error shown below:

SolarWinds.VIM.Common.BusinessLayerProxyBase`2 - An error occured when connecting to the communication channel.
ERROR SolarWinds.VIM.Web.VimProfile - Unable to load VIM user properties from database.
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: The socket connection was aborted. This could be caused by an error processing your message or a receive timeout being exceeded by the remote host, or an underlying network resource issue. Local socket timeout was '00:01:00'. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
   at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Receive(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size, SocketFlags socketFlags)
   at System.ServiceModel.Channels.SocketConnection.ReadCore(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size, TimeSpan timeout, Boolean closing)



Orion Core products 2015.x.x and UP


It is caused by missing plugin for the  VC++ 2013 Redistributable, both 32 bit and 64 bit from the Orion server



Please note that the following files must exist in the SolarWinds server:



You will need to download and install manually both x86 and x64 bit versions of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 and Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 here: 

Kindly try the following steps:
Note: Disable or stop any antivirus or scanning software before proceeding with the following steps:

1.    Log into the Orion server as a Local Administrator.
2.    Install the latest VC++ 2013 Redistributable using the link mentioned above
Note: Both 32 bit and 64 bit are needed 
3.    Restart Orion Services
4.    Open WebConsole and then verify if the Add Node page loads without any error.
