Troubleshooting errors with reports created in the web console

Overview

When generating reports in the Orion Web Console, you might encounter errors during rendering 'Custom table'.

The error message might read as follows:

Error setting up report cell during rendering 'Custom Table'
Error executing SQL: Invalid column name 'ColumnName'

or 

Error setting up report cell during rendering 'Custom Table'
Missing field 'ColumnName' in Orion.NodesCustomProperties

Environment

NPM 11.5 and later

Cause

The report definition includes a custom property that was available when the report was created but was renamed or removed later on.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, restore the missing custom property that is mentioned in the error message.

Create a custom property with the name specified in the message.
