Overview

This article shows how to configure NPM to stop receiving alerts for a specific node.

Environment

NPM 12.1 and later

Steps

Option 1

  1. On the Orion Web Console, go to Settings > Manage Alerts.
  2. Locate the alert you want to stop receiving alerts for and click Edit.
  3. On the Trigger Condition option, click + under Conditions of Scope.
  4. Add the following condition:
    Node - Node Name - is not equal to - "<node name>"

Option 2

  1. Go to "Manage nodes" and find the node you want to mute alerts on.
  2. Click "Maintenance Mode" and "schedule".
  3. Choose the time you want to Mute alerts on the node.
  4. Click OK.

Option 3

  1. Go to "Manage nodes" and find the node you want to mute alerts on.
  2. Click "Maintance mode " and "Mute Alerts Now

NOTE: To "unmanage" instead of "Muting Alert"  will not stop alerts from triggering for the node.
