Overview

This article describes the process of disabling monitoring for an interface.

If an interface is disabled and you do not want to monitor it, you have to remove it from the Web Console as it will still be polled otherwise.

Environment

NPM 11.5.3 and earlier

Steps

  1. On the Orion Web Console, click Settings > Manage Nodes.
  2. Locate and select the node with interface you want to remove.
  3. Click List Resources.
  4. Once the resources are listed, scroll down and deselect the interface that will no longer be monitored.
  5. Click Submit.
