Overview

Find duplicate IP addresses using SQL query.

Environment

All Orion Core products

Detail

Use the following SQL query:

SELECT IP_Address, COUNT(*)
FROM Nodesdata
GROUP BY  IP_Address
HAVING COUNT(*) > 1

This will return the number of duplicates a specific IP Address has.

If the above SQL query return a lot of duplicates, it will be useful to pick out just the entries that are seeing this issue by running the following SQL query:

SELECT *
FROM NodesData
WHERE IP_Address IN (SELECT IP_Address
  FROM Nodes
  GROUP BY  IP_Address
  HAVING COUNT(*) > 1)
