Overview

During troubleshooting, it is possible to look at a table showing which WMI credentials are assigned to each node.

Environment

All NPM versions

Detail

Open up Database Manager on the main Orion server

  • Add Default Server
  • Right click on Orion Database
  • Click New query

Enter and then execute the following query to view the table and credentials:

SELECT NodeSettings.NodeID, Caption as 'Node Name', ID as 'Cred ID', Name as 'Credentials Name'
FROM Credential
inner join NodeSettings on Credential.ID = NodeSettings.SettingValue
inner join Nodes on Nodes.NodeID = NodeSettings.NodeID
WHERE NodeSettings.SettingName = 'WMICredential'

You then should see a list of WMI credentials assigned to specific node names. You then should be able to parse out credentials with another 'Where' statement possibly for the appropriate credential name.
