Table of contents

Updated March 24, 2017

If database maintenance fails to start, you can schedule it as a Windows Scheduled Task on the Orion server until the regular starting routine can be debugged.

All Orion Platform products version 10.0 or later

  1. Schedule a task in Windows. See Schedule a task  (© 2017 Microsoft, available at, obtained on February 13, 2017).
  2. In the scheduled task, enter the following command:
    C:\program files (x86)\solarwinds\orion\Database-Maint.exe -Archive

Note: Make sure to change C:\program files (x86)\ to the appropriate drive and directory if you did not install to the defaults.
