Overview

This article addresses an issue where your resource shows a variable, for example ${Caption}, instead of the accurate title.

Environment

NPM 11.5.3 and earlier

Resolution

  1. Locate the Resource and click Edit.
  2. Go to Advanced and click + to expand. If the Chart Title and Chart Subtitle are blank open the page where you have the resource with the issue on a new tab, perform the following:
    1. Add the same or a similar resource to that page. Refer to Add resources and columns to views, and define subviews.
    2. Edit the new resource.
    3. Go to Advanced and click + to expand.
    4. Copy the Variables that are in that resource into the resource that has issues.
    5. Save the changes

The resource should now show appropriate information and not variables.
