Report to identify interfaces that are not monitored

Table of contents

Updated May 31, 2017

Overview

This article provides information on reporting elements that are not monitored.

Environment

All Orion platform versions

Detail

SolarWinds only supports reporting on elements which are monitored. The fact that we are not monitoring those interfaces prevents us from pulling any data from them at all, so there is nothing to report on as far as SolarWinds monitoring and reporting is concerned.
If there is a need to monitor the interfaces that are currently unmonitored at long polling intervals to reduce the impact on your system, it is advised to create a report on them.
