Overview

After running a defrag of the indexes, some customers still get a message in the Web Console stating they should defrag the index manually. This article shows you how you can rebuild and reorganize your database manually.

Environment

All versions of Core products

Steps

  1. Connect to the database using Microsoft SQL Management Studio.
  2. Expand the SolarWinds database and find the table or tables indicated in the message.
  3. Expand the table or tables and go over the indexes.
  4. Right-click the index and choose rebuild and then reorganize.
