Overview

This article provides brief information when a power supply is visible in a down state but the device shows operational.

Environment

NPM version 10.4 or later

Detail

  1.  Perform an SNMPwalk to the target device.
  2. Search the SNMP walk for the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.3.
    Example: OID=.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.3.1058, Type=Integer, Value=6
  3. Compare the value given to this key.
  4. If we are displaying the proper state then the you will need to work with the device manufacturer as it maybe an IOS issue, SNMP Issue, or frozen status.
