PDF not attached when sending PDF reports via email

When sending pdf reports via email, the pdf is not attached.



  • NPM 12.3 



This issue is caused by the binding configuration.



Step 1: Enable port 443 in the database, and add the FQDN:

  1. Open the Orion Database Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Websites table. 
  3. Enable table editing, provide the FQDN, add port 443, and set SSL Enabled to 1.




Step 2: Change the binding in the Internet Information Services Manager to include the FQDN

  1. In the IIS Manager, open Site Bindings, and click Edit.
  2. In the Host Name, provide the FQDN.1..png
  3. Run the Configuration wizard.
  4. Create a new report.
