Orion Web Console does not timeout on some of the pages

Updated 26 December 2018

Even though the settings for timeout are correctly applied and enabled, the Orion Web Console still does not timeout for some of the pages. For example, Orion Summary Home, Config Summary.

  • NPM 12.1 and newer

This is a bug throughout most of the currently supported versions. It is caused by an issue with saving the setting the first time.

Current workaround:

  1. Change the timeout value. For example, change it from 25 minutes to 24, and then save the change.
  2. Edit it again, and then change it back to 25 minutes.

The setting should now apply correctly to all pages of the web console and cause the pages to timeout.
