This article provides brief information and steps to resolve the issue when there is no data visible in the following charts:
NPM version 11.5 or later
The issue is caused by a corrupted Job Engine or Collector.
1. Check SNMP walk for any data that shows for 32 and 64 bit counters for a specific interface:
Note: If values are blank, then the device is not providing data for us to display in this chart. If there is data proceed to Step 2.
2. Check event viewer logs for any errors for the Collector or Job Engine in the System and SolarWinds logs.
3. Check MSMQ to make sure the queues are not building up waiting to write to SQL.
4. Run OrionPermissionChecker to validate there are no issues with permissions. Default location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion.
5. Open up SQL Studio Management or Database Manager to check InterfaceAvailability_Detail table to see if any data is being written to the database.
Note: If no data is being written to the database proceed to Step 6.
6. Go to Control panel on the Solarwinds server.
7. Uninstall SolarWinds Collector, SolarWinds Job Engine v1 and SolarWinds Job Engine v2.
8. Go to C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Installers on the SolarWinds server.
9. Run the installers for CollectorInstaller.msi, JobEngine.msi, and JobEngine.v2.msi.
