Network Sonar is picking up devices from an obsolete poller

Overview

While running 'Network Sonar', 'Import Status Skipped, already monitored with different engine’ error occurs.

Note: For security reasons IP address is blacked out.

Cause

Network Sonar discovery is picking up devices from an obsolete poller.  

Resolution

Modify the discovery profiles from the web console. Once it's done, the polling engine will be updated. 

  1. Log into the Orion Web Console > click Settings > Network Sonar Discovery 
  2. Select the discovery profile that shows incorrect values and click 'Edit' and then click 'Next' until the update is completed. 
  3. Repeat this process for all the discovery profiles retrieving the incorrect values. Sample screen is given below:
