Network Latency resource shows the same data on all interfaces on a given node

Updated January 27, 2017

Overview

If you look at all Interface details pages on a node and see the Network Latency resource, it will have the exact same statistics on all interfaces on that node.

Environment

All Orions versions

Cause

User chose a node-level resource for the interface page and it is showing only the information for the node-level latency polling for every page.

Resolution

  1. Go to Interface details page and click Customize page.
  2. Look for any resource with Network latency, highlight it, and click the garbage can icon (or x in some versions) to the right to remove it.
  3. You will then have to choose resources with either interface in the resource name or in the resource category, as shown on the resource list.
