NetPath fails with a No Data found error

NetPath fails with a No Data found error and the following messages are found in the NetPath logs:

ERROR SolarWinds.NetPath.Pollers.Traceroute.TraceroutePoller - NetPath_10057_E_051F37B5 Failed to create traceroute job:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'PcapDotNet.Core.DLL' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.
File name: 'PcapDotNet.Core.DLL'

This issue can occur when the WinPcap driver is corrupted.


  1. Disable any antivirus programs.

  2. Reinstall the WinPcap driver (© 2013 Riverbed Technology, available at, obtained on June 16, 2017).

  3. Open Orion Service Manager and restart SolarWinds services.
