Move nodes to new poller and delete old poller

Overview

This article provides steps to move nodes to the new primary poller and delete the old poller. 

Environment

All NPM versions

Steps

1. Assign all the Nodes to the new polling engine. 

a.  On the web console, click settings > Manage nodes

b. Check all nodes to change (make sure to click "Select all nodes"), and then click More Actions > Change Polling Engine.

c. Select the new polling engine, and then click Submit.

 

2. Delete the old polling engine

a. On the web console, click on Polling engines.

b. Click on delete polling engine button (This button will only appear if manage elements = 0).
