Mount Point Polling Showing Down Status after Upgrade to NPM 12.2

Updated: October 27, 2017

After upgrading an Orion installation to NPM 12.2 all mount points show in a Down Status and report 0B for Space Used and Space Available. They may also trigger volume alerts for status and space used/available.

  • NPM 12.2 installed with SAM 6.4

The cause of this is a bug in the Orion Platform (2017.3) that ships with NPM 12.2. This causes issues with Mount Point polling which is a functionality of SAM.

This issue is resolved in Orion Platform 2017.3 Hotfix 2.
