Overview

This article provides brief information and steps to configure Unix or Unix-like devices to support Net-SNMP (formerly UCD-SNMP) MIB. NPM uses this to gather CPU and memory data.

Third-party support for Net-SNMP can be obtained from the Net-SNMP package (http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/).
