Overview

This article provides brief information and steps to configure Unix or Unix-like devices to support Net-SNMP (formerly UCD-SNMP) MIB. NPM uses this to gather CPU and memory data.

Environment

All NPM versions

Steps

To obtain Net-SNMP support for your device, contact your device manufacturer or distributor.

Third-party support for Net-SNMP can be obtained from the Net-SNMP package (http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/).

For further information and assistance, refer to the SolarWinds community forums.
