Interface details showing incorrect response time and latency

Overview

This article describes the issue about interface details that showing incorrect interface details and utilizations. Sometime it show no data for the specific interface. 

Environment

All NPM versions 

Cause

There are some cached data that seems to not allow the interface information to update. This commonly happen if their are changes in the node it self. Solarwinds cannot automatically change the device information such element indexes in comparison to device detail and database information. 

Resolution

  1. Go to Settings and click Manage Nodes.
  2. Find the problematic node, check it and click Delete.
  3. Click Add Node and add the node back in.
