Table of contents

Updated June 16, 2017

Overview

This article provides information regarding the CPU usage when polling Cisco 3750 Stack.

Environment

  • NPM 12.0.1
  • Cisco 3750 Stack - IOS Version 12.2(25)

Detail

The SNMP process on the Stack Master switch consumes a high amount of CPU and reboots the switch when polling a Cisco 3750 Stack.

Workaround: disable the stack polling on the affect device.

Go to Node Details -> Pollers -> Manage Pollers -> find 'Switch Stack' -> Assignments -> Set it to OFF state on problematic node.
