HTML Images in Alert Emails do not appear

Overview

This article provides brief information on the limitations of HTML images in alert emails.

When we include images In the message body of an Alert, using a URL which points to a web-based images.

we are not seeing the image in our emails.

Detail 

When emails are viewed on  an internal email client, Group policy may block  access to the internet .

The Email client cannot access the URL so no image is displayed.
