FusionLog folder occupies disk drive

This article provides brief information on the FusionLog folder filling up a drive in an environment. It fills 90% with SolarWinds related files in .HTM format.


NPM version 11.5.3 or later


  • FusionLog folder is not part of SolarWinds and is a folder created by Microsoft.
    The way this works is Microsoft has it's libraries and we use them as a client.The fusion logging is an extra logging that we can sometimes use to see underlying issues that our logs might have not caught.


  • To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].
    You can then remove the whole fusionlog folder to get more space on your disk.
    Removing this folder will not affect your environment in any way making it safe to do.
