Issue:

When setting up a New Trap Rule (Edit Forward Trap Action), the error message "hostname cannot be resolved to an IP Address" is displayed if a hostname only resolvable to an IPv6 address is specified.

Cause:

Although the popup window asks for either the hostname or IP address, you need to enter the IP address in the case of an IPv6 address.

Resolution:

Use the IPv6 address instead of the hostname.
