Filter on Status using Manage Nodes when viewing interfaces

Table of contents

Updated August 10, 2016

Overview

This article provides information when using the Manage Nodes resources when locating and searching on interfaces.

Environment

All NPM versions

Detail

The Manage Nodes resource is used for managing nodes and the filtering is based on the nodes.

As an example:

The Show Interfaces search option is used under Group by Status. The Up, Down and Unknown refers to the status of the node and not the interfaces as shown here. You can see in the Up selection that the interfaces are in a Down state because the Group by applies to the Node status and not the interface status.
