Exclude nodes from web resources using custom properties

Table of contents

Overview

This article provides steps to include or exclude nodes from web resources that have filtering.

Environment

NPM version 10.3 or later

Steps

1. Create a Yes/No custom property for nodes as described in Create a custom property using the Manage Custom Properties editor.

2. Select the target web resource on the view or dashboard in Orion you want to include or exclude and click on Edit.

3. Edit the filter using SQL syntax.

Note: custom properties for Yes/No fields in the custom property editor store in the database as bit so require a 1 or 0

1 for yes and 0 for no. They display elsewhere in Orion as Yes and No.
