Disable HTTPS for NPM and VMAN integration

Overview

Complete the following procedure to disable HTTPS and enable HTTP communications:

Environment

VMan with NPM integration

Steps

1. Log on to the NPM server.

2. Open the Database Manager by clicking All Programs > SolarwindsOrion > Advanced Features > Database Manager.

3. In the Database Manager, click Add default server and locate the Solarwinds Orion database in the list.

4. Double-click the WebSettings table and execute a query.

5. In the VManWebsiteURLsetting, change the protocol from https:// to http://.

6. Wait for one minute and then verify that your new settings are applied.

    If your new settings are not applied, open the Orion Service Manager and restart your website.
