Custom HTML resources are unaccessible after upgrading NPM

Updated October 5, 2018

After you upgrade NPM, some or all custom HTML resources are no longer accessible.

  • All NPM versions

During the upgrade, all files in c:\InetPub\Solariwnds are removed and replaced with the upgraded web site files. As a result, all custom HTML or other custom files created by the user are removed.

  1. Copy the any custom HTML files or other custom files back to the original directory.
    For example:
    c:\InetPub\Solariwnds \Orion
  2. Restart IIS.
