Create custom SQL alerts in the Orion Web Console

This article explains how to create a custom SQL alert in the latest version of NPM using Web alerts.


  • NPM 11.5 x and later



  1. Log into the Solarwinds Web Console
  2. Click Settings > Manage Alerts.
  3. Click Add New Alert.
  4. Fill in the Alert Properties, such as Name and Frequency, and click Next..
  5. In the I want to alert on trigger condition field, select Custom SQL Alert (Advanced).



  1. Type or paste in your query
  2. Finish configuring your alert.
