Create an alert when response time exceeds warning or critical thresholds

Overview

This article describes how to create an alert that will trigger when the response time has exceeded its warning or critical thresholds.

Environment

All Orion Platform versions using web-based Alert Manager (Orion Platform 2015 and later)

Steps

  1. If required, set custom thresholds for the node:
    1. Go to Settings > Manage Nodes.
    2. Select the node, and then click Edit Properties.
    3. Scroll down to Alerting Thresholds, and then click Override Orion General Thresholds. 
    4. Set the desired thresholds, and then click Submit.

  2. Once the threshold is set, create the alert using the following trigger conditions:
