Create an advanced SQL report to check nodes that fail SNMP\WMI polling

  1. Go to Report Writer (Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Alerting, Reporting, and Mapping > Report Writer)
  2. Select File Menu > New Report
  3. Choose "Advanced SQL"  as the report type
  4. The following advanced SQL report checks the last 5 polls where snmp\wmi communication has been destroyed
    • SELECT Nodes.NodeID AS NetObject, Nodes.Caption AS NameFROM NodesWhere LastSystemUpTimePollUtc <
    • DATEADD( second, -5*PollInterval, GETUTCDATE()) AND status =1 AND ObjectSubType IN ('SNMP', 'WMI')
  5.  The Preview option helps to see the results. Also the report can be saved for latter use.
