Overview

This article provides the steps to create a network map with IP SLA Operation.

Environment

  • VNQM, all versions
  • NPM, all versions

Steps

Open Network Atlas from the Orion Server and follow the steps below:

  1. Drag the source and destination nodes involved in the IPSLA operation to your map.
  2. Draw a line linking the 2 nodes.
  3. Right-click on the line, and choose Properties.
  4. On the "Link Properties" tab, click "Cancel this assignment" to free up one of the status assignments.
  5. In the tree-view showing your devices, drag-and-drop the operation to the now vacant status assignment.
  6. Adjust the appearance of the link to your liking. Green might make the most sense.
