Create F5 BigIP pool member alerts

Overview

This article describes how to create an alert when F5 BigIP is unavailable.

Environment

NPM 11.5.x and 12.1

Steps

NPM 11.5.x

  1. Login to the Orion Web Console as an administrator.
  2. Go to Settings > Alerts & Reports > Manage Alerts.
  3. Click Add New Alert.
  4. Enter an alert name and click Next.
  5. On the Trigger Condition tab, enter the following values as shown in the screenshot:
    • I want to alert on F5 Pools
    • Trigger alert when: At least one child condition must be satisfied (OR)
    • F5 Pools - Availability State - is not equal to - Available
    • F5 Pools - Enabled State - is equal to - Disabled
  6. Click Next.
  7. Continue setting up Actions as indicated Available Alert Actions.
  8. Click Submit.

On the Trigger Condition tab, enter the following values as shown in the screenshot:
