Check if Nodes are Polling Data using Database Manager

Overview

The following procedure executes the required SQL Command to check if Nodes are polling data using Database Manager.

Environment

  • NPM 11.0.1 and Lower Version

  • NPM 11.5 and Higher Version

Steps

Note: LastSync and NextPoll should match the information found on the Orion Web Console.

NPM 11.0.1 and Below Version

1. On your Windows Server, search for Database Manager

2. Click on Add Default Server

3. Right-click on your SolarWindsOrion Database

4. Select New Query

5. Paste the query below:

SELECT NodeID, LastSync, NextPoll FROM [dbo].[Nodes]

NPM 11.5 and Higher Version

1. On your Windows Server, search for Database Manager

2. Click on Add Default Server

3. Right-click on your SolarWindsOrion Database

4. Select New Query

5. Paste the query below:

SELECT NodeID, LastSync, NextPoll FROM [dbo].[NodesStatistics]
