Change the default syslog message retention value in NPM

Overview

This article provides steps to change the default syslog message retention value in the NPM Orion Web Console.

Environment

NPM 12.1 or later

Steps

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Go to Settings > All Settings > Polling Settings > Database Settings.
  3. Change the value for SYSLOG MESSAGES RETENTION.
    Note: The default value is 7 days.
  4. Click Submit to save changes.
