Change the Baseline Data Collection Duration in the Database

Overview

This article provides steps to change the Baseline Data Collection Duration in your Database.

Environment

NPM version 11.5.3

Steps

To change the setting in the database: 

  1. Go to the Database Manager.
  2. Add a Default Server.
  3. Double click Settings table.
  4. Execute the default query (Select Top 1000).
  5. Locate VIM_Setting_Detailed_Retain' and 'SWNetPerfMon-Settings-Baseline Collection Duration.
  6. Enable table editing.
  7. Change the CurrentValue to the required number of days for both rows.

 

The value will be changed in the database, once the database maintenance runs the value will be changed in the Orion Web Console as well.
