Change or migrate the NPM IIS web folder to another drive

Overview

This article will explain how you can move the current NPM IIS web folder to another drive. 

Environment

All NPM versions

Steps

  1. On the Orion server, stop the IIS services
    Open a command prompt and type iisreset /stop.
  2. Launch the IIS Manager
    a. On the left panel, expand the server name > expand Sites.
    b. Right click and remove the Solarwinds NetPerfmon.
    c. Expand Application Pools.
    d. Right click and remove Solarwinds Application Pool.
  3. Copy the NPM IIS web folder from C drive to your new drive.
  4. Run the Orion Configuration Wizard.
    Select Websites and make sure that the website location is pointing to the new drive.
