Change interface description length in DB

In the DB, the default description field value is defined in InterfaceAlias field, type nvarchar(100). 

However, Cisco MIBs for IfAlias by default store only 64 characters. But, it allows you to put 256 character long descriptions on the interfaces, but by default, they will not report it via SNMP.

Use a command

“snmp ifmib ifalias long”,

The device will store up to 256 characters in the MIB.
