Cannot create new IIS website

This error may display even when IIS (Internet Information Services) is installed, if only minimal roles are enabled. Correcting this error, even after fully installing IIS, may require you to reboot your Orion server, as indicated in the following procedure.

 

 

 

To correct a "Cannot create new IIS website" error:

  1. Confirm that IIS is installed with all required roles and components enabled. For more information, see "Required IIS components for NPM".
  2. Reboot your Orion server.
