Batch update devices in NPM to use calculated baseline thresholds

Overview

This article explains how to simultaneously set up all devices to use the baseline thresholds that have been calculated.

Environment

  • All NPM versions

Steps

1. Log in to the Orion Web Console as an administrator, and click Settings > Manage Nodes.
2. Select the nodes you want to use the Dynamic Baseline thresholds, and click Edit Properties.
3. Click the box below Alerting Thresholds (for example, CPU Load, Memory Usage, Response Time, Percent Packet Loss).
4. Click Override Orion General Thresholds.
5. Click Use Dynamic Baseline Thresholds.
6. Click Submit.
