Overview

Copies of files in the MSMQ on the Orion server can cause modules to fail to connect to it, and for it to fail to send data to the database.

This article describes how to check if there are copied files.

Environment

All Orion servers

Detail

  1. Turn off Message Queueing service in Windows services.
  2. Go to c:\Windows\System\msmq\storage\lqs.
  3. Look for ANY file with copy in the name or extension, or any file that looks out of place, and remove it to another location or delete it.
  4. Restart the message queuing service and all SolarWinds services.
