Assign a view to a specific node

Overview

Steps to create a custom view and assign it to a specific node. If you have more than one node that you want to associate with this view, repeat the steps in part 2 to add it to more nodes.

Environment

NPM version 11.5

Steps

Creating your view

  1. Log in to your Web Console.
  2. Go to Settings >  View > Add new view.
  3. Add name and select type of view.
  4. Click submit.
  5. Add required resources to Column 1 & 2.

 

Assign View to Specific Nodes

  1. Log in to  your Web Console. 
  2. Go to Settings Manage Nodes Select a node for your view.
  3. On the Node details page, Go to Management.
  4. Edit Node.
  5. Click view type.
  6. Use the drop-down menu and select the view you created.
  7. Click submit.

 

Another option that you can do is use the Customize Page:

1.  Click the Green Plus sign in middle of page

2.  In the Search Box at the top type Custom

3.  Select Custom Object Resources

4. Click Submit

5. Go to the Custom Object Resource box you just created and Click Edit

6. Add The Nodes you want 

7. Can check mark the box that shows display on these nodes

8. Then pick what you want to be displayed
