Additional polling engine is working but marked as Down

Overview

This article addresses the issue where an additional polling engine is marked as Down (Orion Web Console > Settings > Polling Engines) even when it is working properly.

Environment

NPM 11.0 and later

Cause 

This occurs when there is a Date / Time / Timezones mismatch between SQL and the Orion pollers.

 

 

Resolution

 

Verify that the Timezone / Date and Time for all the pollers and the SQL server match.
