Added custom property cannot be used to filter the Limitation Type

Updated November 15, 2016

A custom property was created for nodes. Upon clicking Select Limitation Type in the Summary Page, the created custom property is not available as an option while the others (old) are visible.

NPM 12.x

This is by design.

  1. Login to Orion server as an administrator.
  2. Go to the Orion installation folder (by default c:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\).
  3. Open application AccountLimitationBuilder as an administrator.
  4. Click Start.
  5. From the top menu,  select Edit > Add Limitation.
  6. You should be able to build the limitation using Custom Node Property.
