ASA remote access tunnels display multiple times

Updated: January 11, 2018

When monitoring Cisco ASA firewalls, the same remote access tunnel is displayed multiple times in the list of remote access tunnels.

  • NPM 12.2

The issue is caused by the AnyConnect client. AnyConnect often uses multiple protocols for the connection, and each of them is reported as a single remote access tunnel.

Filter remote access tunnels by the client version:

  1. On the Remote Access VPN view, expand Client versions, and select one AnyConnect item.

Remote access tunnels will not be duplicated anymore.
