This article describes the issue when alerts re-trigger on an interface down alert even though the interface is either up or the node has been deleted.


NPM version 11.5.2



This is a known bug in NPM version 11.5.2 which has been fixed in Hotfix1 for Orion platform.


Instead of installing Hotfix1, we would advise to move to NPM 11.5.3
NPM 11.5.3 is more stable than NPM 11.5.2. It contains all hotfixes that were added to NPM 11.5.2 and many more fixes.
The installation time and process are the same for NPM 11.5.3 and hotfixes, which is why we recommend upgrading to prevent further issues.
