Installer is stuck while installing Solarwinds Job Engine 2

Updated May 17th, 2016

Overview

When upgrading Orion NPM, the installer is stuck in Solarwinds Job Engine 2 and does not move forward.

Environment

NPM version 10.0

Cause

The JobEngine installer cannot complete the calculation of the available disk space and the existing folder space within the existing installation folder due to low disk performance.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, SolarWinds recommends that you create a brand new VM 2003 and install the latest version of NPM which resolves this issue.

For more details, see Orion Hardware Requirements.
